Misrah

Pricing and what's included

No surprises, from the first visit to the last alteration.

A Misrah kandura is cut by hand from Japanese fabric, measured at your home, and altered for as long as you own it. Here is exactly what that includes, and what it costs.

with an old kandura traded in

Without a trade-in, AED 315.

What you pay depends on the fabric you choose. The master tailor brings every fabric to your fitting so you can feel them before deciding.

The kandura

  • Close view of an olive kandura, showing the weave of the Japanese fabric and the tarboosh.

    Woven in Japan

We source the finest Japanese fabric we can buy, chosen for how it holds its shape and how it wears in Abu Dhabi heat.

  • A Misrah tailor guiding white kandura fabric through a sewing machine in the Abu Dhabi workshop.

    Built without the weak points

We redesigned the construction from the ground up to remove where a kandura usually gives way. No threads working loose at the pockets or the sleeves, and a cleaner line for it.

  • Close view of a white kandura neckline, showing the hand-finished seams and braided tarboosh.

    Cut and sewn by hand

One master tailor takes your kandura from fabric to finish in our Abu Dhabi workshop. Nothing about it is mass produced.

  • Hands holding a woven Misrah label stitched inside a kandura, printed with the wearer's name and the date it was made.

    Made to your specification

Collar, cuffs, pocket, thread, finish. You choose the details at your fitting, and we keep them on file so the next one is right without asking again.

Included with every order

  • We come to you

A master tailor visits your home or office anywhere in Abu Dhabi to take your measurements. No charge, no obligation.

  • Alterations for life

If the fit needs adjusting, now or in three years, we adjust it. Free, for as long as you own the kandura.

  • Delivered to your door

Free delivery anywhere in Abu Dhabi as soon as your kandura is ready.

  • Packaging worth keeping

Your kandura arrives folded in a resealable pouch, inside a bag made to be used again. Both are built to be kept rather than binned.

  • AED 25 back for every old kandura

Hand the master tailor any kandura you no longer wear, whoever tailored it, and take AED 25 off a new one. The old fabric goes to our recycling partners for another life.
